We are hosting another BREWER'S EXPERIENCE NIGHT where we invite a featured brewer to come and help us share information about a particular style of beer we both enjoy. We each furnish several beers in that style and the head-brewers share about the process of making the beer. It's our version of a SCIENCE CLASS with some tasty lab-work we wish they had offered in high school (I mean, you might have paid more attention in chemistry if you knew you could make beer with it, right?). We'll be focusing this experience on BARREL-AGED brews.

This time we are honored to have the head-brewer and brewmaster, Ben Edmunds, of BREAKSIDE BREWING (Portland, Oregon) joining us!

This is a really special opportunity to meet one of the premier brewers in the industry today and we are thrilled to be able to host him. Ben is an award-winning beer genius who, among many other accomplishments, has been making some incredible barrel-aged offerings and we can't wait to pick his brain about how he crafts them.

As part of the event, we'll be offering a TASTER TRAY with two barrel-aged selections from each brewery specially chosen for this event, along with some paired sweet/savory eatery bites made in our kitchen. There will be a time of Q&A with both brewers and a chance to meet and interact with Ben Edmunds.

APRIL 27-29, 2023

We like to do FESTIVALS around here where we bring in some of the best of different styles to share with Marysville in one convenient place. Most of the guest taps we bring in aren't easy to get in our area and it gives our community a chance to try some things they might otherwise miss out on.

This time around we thought we'd throw a party as a TRIBUTE TO THE CLASSIC CLEAR IPA. If you've been around the 5 RIGHTS family for a while you know that these CLEAR IPA's (read "not hazy") have captivated our hearts from the very beginning. That dry, West Coast style, hop-forward IPA has always been front and center of all we do. So it's time to celebrate it properly.

We'll be curating a list of excellent CLEAR IPA's from around the region and make them all available to Festival Attendees. Participating breweries include:

Bale Breaker Brewing Company
Breakside Brewery
Fort George Brewery
Ghost Town Brewing
Grand Fir Brewing
Moonraker Brewing Company
Reuben’s Brews
Riip Beer
Russian River Brewing Company
Von Ebert Brewing

Tickets are $22 and will include a TASTER TRAY of 5 of the guest taps along with a SOUVENIR GLASS and access to FULL POURS of all guest beers.

HAZY DAYS OF WINTER:

This Winter has turned dark and rainy (with a little snow thrown in there for fun). And while a little snow and stormy weather can be fun it's hard not seeing the sun for so long. So somewhere in January, we start to imagine what it would be like take a vacation to somewhere tropical and warm . . .

Well, we can't make the sun come out, but each year we like to take a weekend in January and transport the taproom into a tropical paradise.

Join us for a celebration of the warm, tropical fun of Summer as we host a festival for TROPICAL HAZY IPA'S

We've invited some of our friends from other LOCAL BREWERIES from Washington, Oregon and California to bring some TROPICAL HAZY IPA'S to share:

  • Audacity Brewing
  • Breakside Brewing
  • Fort George Brewing
  • Grains-of-Wrath Brewing
  • In-The-Shadow Brewing
  • Moonraker Brewing
  • Skookum Brewery
  • Sound-to-Summit Brewing
  • Von Ebert Brewing
  • Wandering Hop Brewery

These are some some of the breweries making the very best HAZIES around and now there is one place to come TRY THEM ALL.

This is a ticketed event so that we can be sure to have enough beer on hand for everyone to enjoy.

TICKETS ARE $22 and include a TASTER TRAY OF 5 BEERS, a Souvenir 20oz Glass, and the opportunity to purchase full and half pours of anything on the list. Tickets can be purchased in the brewery on the day of the event you choose to attend.

So, PUT ON YOUR MOST FUN HAWAIIAN SHIRT, wear some sunglasses, and come down and join us for A TASTE OF SUMMER IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!

Daylight Saving time is about to end   and we’ll be rolling our clocks back an hour (Sunday, November 6th) which means the days will be getting darker much earlier. It’s that time of year that we start the descent into darkness. And this year, just a few days before it (Thursday, November 3) is   NATIONAL STOUT DAY. So what better time to descend into the darkness of the darkest of beers?

You are invited to our first ever   START OF THE DARK   event! This one-day event will feature various iterations of our darkest, booziest, richest beer: The   TAXMAN Pauper-Maker Russian Imperial Stout. We’ll be showcasing 6 different versions of the Taxman (vintages & various agings in different types of barrels) and served alongside a dessert-bite pairing for each from our 5 RIGHTS KITCHEN.

The event will run during normal taproom hours (2pm-9pm) on   THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd. Tickets can be reserved in advance by phone or   email   and cost $30. Each ticket will include a TASTER TRAY of 6 TAXMAN VARIATIONS (2.5oz pours) along with the 6 DIFFERENT DESSERT BITES that are intended to be paired with them. Additional 5oz pours of select variations can also be purchased at the event for ticket holders.

We hope you can join us for this delicious and decadent event. Because if you can’t be rich, at least your beer should be! Cheers!
